Easter Day Trip

Oopps, looks like I’ve neglected this blog for a while… Anyway better late than never!

A and I went to Daylesford for a daytrip during the Easter long weekend. It was a beautiful sunny day and we were initially hoping to see some autumn colours but it seemed that this year’s autumn has slight delay. Nevertheless, Daylesford is a beautiful town to visit in every season. Here are a few photos which I finally got back from the photo lab. Hope you’ll enjoy Daylesford as much as I do.

  1. these are just wonderful! every photo I look at evokes something inspiring in me.. and the soft colours are beautiful!!! : )

    • Thank you! That’s the very reason why I love film photography. There’s no way I could achieve that with digital. 🙂

      • I know what you mean, it’s the same reason why I am still using film, although it is black and white. Could you please tell me what film were this photos made with? It looks a bit like Ektar, but I’m not that good in identifying colour films.. 🙂 Thank you and have a nice time!

      • Sure, now its a mix of Fuji Pro 400H and Kodak Portra 800. The photos of the geese are Kodak Potra 800 and the photos of the sheep and the kids are Fuji 400H. Do you develop your own?

  2. Thank you, I think that the next film I will try will be Fuji Pro 400H.. I like it so much! 🙂 Yes, I develop my films by myself.. there’s a bit of magic on the developing process.. and after you finish it’s really nice to see what have you captured.. : )
